Itinarary:
Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
Fly to Amboseli National Park. Morning and afternoon game viewing.
Amboseli is located in the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals.
All meals and overnight at Tortilis camp.
Day 2: Amboseli – Nairobi – Mt. Kenya
Seren Mountain Lodge - After an early breakfast, fly to Nairobi and transfer by road to Mt. Kenya National Park. You will drive through Kikuyu countryside pass near Thika which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation and Karatina the second largest open air market in Africa. You will arrive Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax in the afternoon as you watch game from the balcony of the lodge, with an optional guided nature/forest walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing.
Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.
Day 3: Mt. Kenya - Samburu
Samburu National Reserve – Breakfast at Mt.Kenya safari club. Rest of the morning at leisure. Lunch at Mt. Kenya safari club. Depart Mt. Kenya to Samburu national Reserve arriving early evening. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 4: Samburu
Samburu – Early morning and afternoon game viewing. All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 5: Samburu – Nairobi – Masai Mara
Masai mara – Breakfast in Samburu .Depart for Nairobi arriving at approximately 1300 hrs. Lunch at Nairobi and transfer to Wilson airport for afternoon flight to Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Mara safari club or Sarova Mara Game Camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Full day in Masai mara. Morning and afternoon game viewing.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
All meals and overnight at Mara safari club or Sarova Mara Game Camp.
Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game viewing, breakfast, rest of the morning at leisure. Lunch and thereafter depart for Nairobi arriving approximately 1700 hrs for your flight back home.
