Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive Nairobi and transfer to Norfolk hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Depart Norfolk to Wilson airport for flight to Masai Mara.Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Governors Camp. Governors Camp is situated on a beautiful and secluded stretch of the Mara River, where animals frequently come down to the water to drink. The tents are luxuriously appointed, each with en-suite bathrooms. After lunch go on a game drive in the rolling grassy hills until sunset in search of African wildlife. You will encounter elephants, lion, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, African birds, hippo, crocodile, vultures, African birds of prey, wildebeest, Hyena.
Dinner and overnight at Governor’s camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara
Masai Mara -Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing. The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round. Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night.
All meals and overnight at Governor’s camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Mt. Kenya
Breakfast at Governor’s camp – Fly to Nairobi arriving approximately 1200hrs. Lunch in Nairobi transfer to Mt. Kenya safari club for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Mt. Kenya - Samburu
Breakfast at Mt. Kenya safari club – Transfer to Sweetwater's Tented Camp. After lunch depart for Samburu National Reserve arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge
Day 6: Samburu
Full day in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at as above.
Day 7: Samburu – Nairobi - Kiwayu
Breakfast and fly to Nairobi. Lunch and afternoon flight to Kiwayu Island. Overnight at Kiwayu safari village or Munira Island camp.
Day 8: Kiwayu
Day spend relaxing and enjoying facilities at Kiwayu safari village or Munira Island camp.
Day 9: Kiwayu
Day spend exploring more of the Island and taking part in various water activities offere at Kiwayu safari village or Munira Island camp
Day 10: Kiwayu - Nairobi
Depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi and upon arrival connect on your flight back home.
