Itinerary Summary
This camping safari covering Kenya's best campsites and National parks and game reserves.
Itinerary: Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara 0800 hrs.You will depart to Maasai Mara passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the Eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley you will have a stopover at the view point. At 2,200 metres above sea level, views of Mount Longonot hundreds of metres below on the Rift Valley floor are spectacular. Lake Naivasha - the highest in altitude of the Rift Valley lakes sparkles at a distance. Descend the escarpment to Narok in time for lunch then proceed to Masai Mara. You will check in at Mara Sidai semi luxury tented camp and proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sidai semi luxury camp
Day 2: Maasai Mara Breakfast at the camp then proceed with picnic lunches for a full day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sidai semi luxury camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Nakuru Early morning game drive. Breakfast at the camp, then check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch at the Hotel. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, water buck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Chester hotel in Nakuru town.
Day 4: Nakuru - Nairobi After breakfast at the hotel, then check out and drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon. Upon arrival you will be tranferred to Jamiat Hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Nairobi - Amboseli: After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel and depart for Amboseli National Park arriving at Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch. After lunch, go for an evening game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 6: Amboseli: Full day in Amboseli with morning and evening game drives. Full board accommodation at Kibo Safari Camp. Amboseli is located in the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi After breakfast depart for Nairobi and upon arrival you will be transferred to the Airport for your outbound flight.

What to carry:
Money for personal spending and tipping approximately US$ 20 a day, Only a small case or rucksack, as storage space is limited, A pair of long trousers and jersey for the cool mornings and evenings in addition to plenty of light clothes for hot days (do not forget a hat), good walking and biking shoes and sweets, Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect repellent/spray but not mosquito coils, Camera, films, binoculars, maps, guide-books, towel, soap and toothbrush/paste, All personal travel insurance
It is good idea to bring any drinks you might want around the campfire as they are not always available enroute.
