The Bush Homes properties are located on private land and conservation areas near or adjacent to the famous national parks and game reserves. Nearly seventy percent of Kenya' wildlife reside outside the parks. You see the same animal populations, and the wildlife, are free to roam between private lands and national parks. Kenya is a land of contrasts, comprising of arid deserts, rich savannah's, snow capped mountains, large lakes and dense forests. The wildlife areas are as diverse as the country!

For those who love privacy quiet and serene places, these safaris are truly "people to people you will not see herds of tourists as experienced in large lodges filled with crowds of tourists, your conversations are with your hosts usually the owners and the local Africans who have inhabited the land for generations. African/European Quicine
In the evenings your hosts often join you for a superb sit down dinner with three to four courses in an atmosphere of an intimate casual dinner party. This is a great time for storytelling and learning about the people, the land and the animals. The meals are wholesome and garden fresh, often times grown on the premises, and the food is a combination of fine European cuisine and creative home-style bush cooking.
