Itinerary Summary
Kenya Classic Budget Camping Safari Starting from Nairobi over to Amboseli then proceed to Lake nakuru and finally get to the climax of the Safari which is the Spectacular Mara
DAY 01: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Depart Nairobi at 0900 hours for Amboseli with picnic lunch en route. Afternoon game drives, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 02: AMBOSELI N. PARK
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives, all meals at the campsite.
DAY 03: AMBOSELI - LAKE NAIVASHA
Depart after breakfast leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha National park. Picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a nature walk at the Hell’s gate National Park; later proceed on to Fisherman’s camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 04: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA
After breakfasts proceed to Masai Mara with a stop over en route for picnic lunch. On arrival, you proceed on for a game drive in search for black manned lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhino and other plain game. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 05: MASAI MARA
Early breakfast & depart the campsite with picnic lunch for full day game drives. The game drive extends to Mara River – hippo point where lunch is enjoyed. There after proceed on the game drive in search of many other plains game returning to the campsite by 6 p.m, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 06: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Early morning game drive then return for breakfast there after leave for Nairobi enjoying a picnic lunch arriving by 4 p.m.
Please note that this is a joining others safari - Seat in the bus sharing Min [2] Max [6] Pax.
Amboseli - The campsite is a public utility, no facilities but it is comfortable for 1 or 2 nights. A drop latrine is available but no showers. You can be driven to the nearest lodge for a shower or swim [at an extra cost] This will depend whether the Lodge management to allow the same.
Masai Mara - Campsite: Basic accommodation –already walk–in-tents with beds & mattresses, big open dinning area & kitchen, shared flash toilets with hot/cold showers. The animals come to the campsite – you feel so close to the nature!! Lodges located close to the campsite offers balloon safari, refreshments, swim all at an extra cost.

ALL PRICES QUOTED INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: Transportation with an experienced Driver/Guide, All three meals a day breakfast, lunch & dinner, Services of a safari cook, All camping equipment’s except for sleeping bags, Two person sharing a tent, Park fee, camping fees and a bottled mineral water, and toilet papers.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: Visa fees, airport taxes, Sleeping bags, Personal travel insurance, beverages, anything else of personal nature e.g insect repellant,tips.

What to carry:
Sleeping bag, Money for personal spending and tipping approximately KShs. 1000 a day, Only a small case or rucksack, as storage space is limited, A pair of long trousers and jersey for the cool mornings and evenings in addition to plenty of light clothes for hot days (do not forget a hat), swim suit, a pillow, good walking and biking shoes and sweets, Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect repellent/spray but not mosquito coils, Camera, films, binoculars, maps, guide-books, towel, soap and toothbrush/paste, All personal travel insurance, It is good idea to bring any drinks you might want around the campfire, as they are not always available enroute.
